Stand-Bye Ministries
Thank you
for stopping by and visiting our website. My name is Fred
Smith and I am a full blood Spirit-Filled Navajo minister of
the Gospel. My wife and I are the founders of 1st-Nation
Ministries. The Lord has blessed me with a beautiful wife,
Mrs. Wanda Smith, 2 wonderful children, Raymond and Joy, 3
very beautiful and special grandchildren, Devonte, Kyelahnie
and Danyul Raywin Smith. As well as a lovely
daughter in-law Mrs. SuVon Smith.
The Lord
delivered us from a life of alcohol, drug addiction, and
Indian religion. He has thoroughly washed us in His precious
blood and filled us with the Mighty Holy Ghost with the
evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God
gives us the utterance.

We begin our ministry in Poplar, Montana on the Fort Peck
Indian reservation home to the Assiniboine and Sioux tribes.
We begin pastoring at age 19, then we moved to Taos, New
Mexico home to the Tewa Pueblos and then to Ft. Duchesne,
Utah home of the Northern Utes. During these 24 years of full
time ministry we've been able to evangelize, minister in camp
meetings, hold revivals, and minister in leadership
conferences.
The Lord gave
us this ministry during a time when many Native ministries were
being recognized on a national level. They were given names such as
Risen Warriors, Mighty Warriors, Resurrection Warriors and so on.
When we prayed about a name for our ministry the Lord spoke into our
spirits the name Stand-Byes. |

To be quite
honest we were embarrassed as we felt as though we were 2nd best. We begin to
tell people when your favorite preacher can't come we'll be standing by.Until
one afternoon while visiting with some other ministers they
begin to share that many ministries that used to come through
their reservations years ago no longer came. The comment was
made to me and my wife that over the years during the good
times and the difficult times they could always count on us to
Stand-Bye them through it all. When they made that comment, I
understood what the Lord had called us to do. We have been
called to Stand-Bye the Body of Christ when they succeed and
when they fail, when they are victorious and when they are
defeated, when they are financially blessed and when they have
nothing. The Lord has given us a mandate to:
• Never give up on people.
• To always see them the way Christ sees them through
the
eyes of the Holy Ghost.
• Be an example to them.

I sincerely hope that you
will take the time to visit each page and help us to pray for the
success of this growing ministry. Feel free to share this website
with other ministries, churches, other believers, businesses, and
the unsaved. Thank you for your prayers and your love for the 1st-Nation peoples of America . If you need someone to Stand-Bye you
in prayer, or personnel ministry we're available to help in anyway
possible.
